Yes, Dave Grohl is the nicest guy in rock.

Every now and then I get to interview someone who would've had the 17-year-old version of me losing his mind. Such was the case a few months ago when I spoke with the former Nirvana drummer and current Foo Fighter frontman for a short piece about his debut documentary, Sound City. During the 15 minutes I had with him, Grohl proved that his nice-guy reputation is well-deserved: He not only complimented Hemispheres but also gave props to his mom for coming up with film's very effective three-act structure.
